Creative Guidelines:
The following guidelines are suggested assuming the traditional
silk-screening process is used; however, feel free to suggest another
transfer method if it lends itself better to your style.
1) Create a design with clear line distinctions. Avoid shapes that are
very small, or lines that are very thin.
2) Limit the number of colors in your design to two or three.
3) The t-shirt (or other background) color does not
count as one of your design's 2-3 colors. You may plan to use a t-shirt
of any color if cotton material is used. "Technical fiber" shirts are
reasonably available only in white.
4) Include the race name and date somewhere in your design. Wulfman's Continental
Divide Trail 14K will be run on 20 June 2009, the Saturday immediately
before the summer
solstice.
5) Include your name in the design.
6) The Continental Divide Trail symbol may be used as part of your
design, without worry of copyright infringement.
